Shameless Distortion

BC KAGAN is an internationally published photographer best known for her portraits of emerging punk rock, new wave and alternative rock bands. 

She has photographed U2, Aerosmith, the Police, Duran Duran, the B-52’s, the Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Joe Strummer, Fela Kuti, Billy Idol, Iggy Pop, the Cars and many others. 

BC Kagan’s work has appeared in numerous publications, including Rolling Stone, Spin, Sounds, Musician, Guitar World, Boston Globe, Village Voice, New York Times, Trouser Press and GQ. 

SHAMELESS DISTORTION is the first published collection of BC Kagan’s photographs and includes excerpts from Taking Tea with Monsters.
