"This zine is based on a chapter from my fictional autobiography, 'Dancing on Cracked Asphalt off Morningside Drive.' I'm not a professional writer, but I felt compelled to tell my queer story. It's about an unsophisticated, ordinary, Chicano brown guy and the first 33 years of my life.  This story is about when I first found this queer cruise'n area in Albuquerque, New Mexico, behind a gay bar called The Heights.  that's where and when I realized I was a joto. (Pronounced 'ho-tow,' which means effeminate or queer in Spanish.)"
