Workprint #4

workprint #4 is another completely homemade zine about cult movies and cinemagoing.

In this issue you’ll find TWO stories… One is called “Tape 243” that’s kind of about a crate of VHS tapes and the other is more of a hard-boiled tale called “Are You Laughing at Me?” that mostly takes place at the Cinema Village theater in New York. There’s also a couple of screening reports… one for Dirty Work at John Wilson’s new theater in Queens and the other is for the new Final Destination movie at a 42nd Street multiplex.

You’ll also find a little thing on Pee-wee Herman, a few notes about an Ed Wood shirt and there’s a trip to the back room with a comatose Andrew Stevens.

Finally, there’s the first in what is intended to be a long series of letters to director Allan Arkush to try and convince him that Caddyshack II is a great movie.
