In this first-ever special issue, Womanly partnered with the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) MFA in Illustration Practice to focus on the topic of high blood pressure, also known as hypertension, in the city of Baltimore. The goal of this and future special issues of Womanly Magazine will be to more closely target a specific health crisis and provide the most accessible and direct information we can to help particularly hard-hit communities.
