Whaling Sketches: Related to "Moby-Dick" Volume 1: Mar. - May 2024

Having spent a lot of time drawing digitally on the computer, R. Sikoryak wanted to get back to physical media, so he set out to draw one drawing a day from illustrated books about whaling or Herman Melville’s, Moby-Dick.

Whaling Sketches collects drawings made between March 1 and May 15, 2024. They’re a delight to look through! R’s keen eye and casual line make for a fun read. If you want to compare R’s drawings with the original, there’s a bibliography of references in the back (all printed books).
