Every artist in this anthology is a legend in their own right; together they have hundreds of pages of published work that has never been translated into English. While some of them, including Xiang Yata and Ganmu, have been active for decades, others, like Woshibai, are rising talents.

Their work captures a wide spectrum of illustration and storytelling styles, reflecting the stupendous diversity of the self-publishing and art comics scene in China today.
