This book is a first attempt at a collection of the visual art of the American artist Tracey "Poodles" Zarubick. Born in California in 1968 she died in Massachusetts in 2020.

Her life was one of constant movement, change and drama. Painting and drawing were integral parts of her existence. Though she did not pursue an active career as an artist she never ceased to produce startling original work.

This book was assembled using all available images supplied either by friends, family or images found on the internet. It is an astonishing body of work with a strong autobiographical feeling to it; truly the image of its creator.

Her art, which reflects her life, is filled with invention, ideas, humor, a sure sense of form and balance and a beautiful use of color.

Several of her poems and a selection of photographs taken at different times in her life are also included.

This book is at once a homage to a truly individual talent, a book of souvenirs for those who knew her and an introduction to a beautiful and facinating body of work for those who didn't.
