Lumpy Slump #2  is a 36-page, AD-FREE, black & white, stapled, magazine-sized comic book with newsprint paper and a glossy cover, reminiscent of the comic mags of the 80s like  Savage Sword of Conan,  Creepy,  and  MAD.

When asked about his inspirations for  Lumpy Slump ,  Jon responded that he didn't know where Lumpy came from and that the stories pour out of him like Lumpy is standing over his shoulder, forcing him to draw his story under pain of death. Jon said sometimes Lumpy doesn't let him sleep! Pretty Cool!
