This biography is intended as a straight narrative of the life of Charles Bukowski. His autobiographical stories were laid out like a jigsaw puzzle and put together to create a story of a man who told his ordinary life in extraordinary ways.

Chris Dusterhoff is the publisher of SPREAD, Seattle's only monthly free poetry 'zine, and the publisher of the New Pacific Press Chapbook series since 2019. He was born outside Baltimore, MD sometime in the last century. He is currently a mailman in Seattle, WA.

Chuk Baldock's work has appeared in Spread, the New Pacific Press poetry chapbooks, the self-published comic book, Underwater Opera, and the underground comics anthology, Told To Tell. He was born in Moline, IL near the Mississippi River. He lives in Everett, WA and works for the gas and electric company.
