FLOTSAM is the magazine sized companion piece to the digest sized JETSAM. Together they are a one-dude anthology and retrospective. I had been thinking of putting together a collection of old work, or maybe a sample book for my illustration. In the end, I decided to combine those two ideas, but then I found enough stuff to fill two 50 page books! Each is 52 pages (including covers) of comix, illustrations, drawings, and other detritus from the last twenty or so years.

I've been at this a long time. Much of my old work is out of print and practically impossible to find. For the most, that's probably a good thing. A generous sprinkling of new and/or never before printed work is also included. Some of it was drawn in old sketchbooks from the 1990's and resurrected, resuscitated, and inked recently. There's a lot of Dada influence in the old work and at the time I wasn't sure any of it was worth sharing. I'm older now and more comfortable with nonsense and letting others decide what it's worth to them. The whole process of putting these books together was like a collaboration between who I was then and who I am today.

Fair Warning: Not intended for minors. There is as much serious illustration in here as there are poop jokes, dirty words, and boobies!
